Now I have listened to the show, and honestly, I am not sure if that is in fact who you guys were referring to.

I also am an Escape Pod fan, in fact one of my comments got quoted at the end of the Snow Woman episode. Now I just need 14 and a half more minutes of fame and I'll be set *g*.

IDDFOS was a very strange 'cast... I don't even know what category it would go into. Demented ramblings, probably. But it was pretty cool. It might still be pretty cool.

I have no clue what I'm talking about.

Hey Dave,

Thanks for the correction, and the praise. I've changed the name now. I can only claim total ignorance as I know not of Anim5 or the International Detective Dragons From Outer Space. I only listen to RPG podcasts, or tech podcasts... oh and one that does short Sci Fi called Escape Pod. I'm sure within even those two categories I'm ignorant of a lot of shows.

I haven't listened to this one yet, but I think you're referring to Anim5 (I thought it was Adam5 for the longest time, too), who is responsible for by far the greatest webcast bumpers in the known universe, as well as International Detective Dragons from Outer Space. I haven't listened to that show in a while (I'm way behind on my webcasts, among other things), has it gone off-air? That's too bad, Anim5 was quite the character, and a great boon to the 'casting community. Guess I'll find out more when I get around to listening to this ep, eh?

I like option #3: Friend & perhaps occasional cohort.

But that's not mutually exclusive with #1 or #2.

Hey Tim,

Thats a good idea. I'll have to think about it, as it was a quite torturous process to make this post. It took several hours. On the other hand I won't be doing these open mic shows very often.... You're making me wonder if there were some way I could Wiki-ize my posts.

Hey Clyde, one thing that you might want to do in the future is to time stamp your show notes in case someone wants to listen (or re-listen) to a certain segment or person. Keep up the great work!
